Two generations of the best Argentine folklore converge in their final year of Tucumán Moon cycle that leads maestro Juan Falu Space Tucumán. The guest will be none other than Juan Quintero, the award-winning artist on several occasions has visited our stage.

Guitarist, composer and teacher, Juan Falu is one of the references fundamental to the music of Argentina. Was honored as part of the country's most important awards: the National Music Prize 2000, awarded by the Ministry of Culture, Clarín Prize in 2001 and 2008 Gardel Prize in 2008 for best CD of the year. His works are part of the repertoire of guitar players from different latitudes and were published in Argentina, Belgium, France and Costa Rica. As a performer, Falu reveals a deep knowledge of the music of their land, projecting with a flight creative and improvisational such, it became defined as a "real-time composer" by guitarist Eduardo Fernandez. Has performed at prestigious venues in over twenty Americas, Europe, Asia and Africa. He directs the World Guitar Festival, considered the largest international meeting of the guitar. He teaches at the Conservatorio Manuel de Falla in Buenos Aires, where he helped create the first Carrera Superior de Folklore y Tango of that city.

Sandro Pereira integrates a group show at the Centro Cultural Recoleta

tucumano artist Sandro Pereira, a fervent worshiper of self, part of our collective in the Recoleta Cultural Center. The exhibition of artists Artistic Research Center (CIA) has been the hallmark of Dean Daderko curator, a specialist who lives and works in New York.

Daderko has also cured exhibits for Art in General, Artist's Space, The Kitchen in New York and The Contemporary Art Center in Vilnius, Lithuania. His writings have been from publications such as The Studio Museum in Harlem, El Museo del Barrio and The Australian Centre for Contemporary Art as curator, defending a practice that aims to establish forums for dialogue both critical and productive between artists and audience.

The exhibition will take place from Saturday, December 4 through Sunday, January 23, in rooms 4 and 5 of the Centro Cultural Recoleta (Junín 1930).

Chaile Gabriel Drawings selected for Williams Foundation Prize Drawings

tucumano Gabriel Chaile part of the selected works under the Williams Foundation Award for Young Artists 2010. The award seeks to promote the development of young artists and give visibility to the emerging production experimental Argentina. The jury is composed of critics and Ana Martínez Quijano Rodrigo Alonso, and by the artist Eduardo Stupía.

Selected works will be exhibited from December 9 in Room 27 of the Centro Cultural Borges (Viamonte and San Martín, 2nd floor).

Saverio El Cruel, Roberto Arlt, at the Teatro Nacional Cervantes

A fantastic Saverio El Cruel, Roberto Arlt, will be presented this week at the Nacional Teatro Cervantes. Directed by Adrian White, the cast consists of actors in the province of Tucumán selected in the auditions under the Federal Plan for co-productions being conducted by the theater.

From the family of tragic farce, Saverio El Cruel tells the story of a grocer who will be the focus of ridicule by a group of men and women willing to do anything to have a good time. In a constant game between reality and fantasy, the plot unfolds on two levels: the miserable lives of the characters and the fact that these manufactured dream in your mind. The characters struggle to break with the past but, do not end up in conflict with their stereotypical roles and opening cracks in the conventional development of the plot.

The cast is composed of Marcos Acevedo, Sergio Aguilar, Noah Andrade Ruben Avila, Andrea Barber, Daniel Cabot, Daniela Canseco, Andres D'Andrea, Pablo Delgado, Cristina Fiz Lobo, Jorge Garcia, Marcela García Mottes, Liliana Sánchez, Nati vanadium, Daniela Villalba and Oscar Zamora.

The function will be held Friday December 10, at 21, in Room Cervantes María Guerrero Theatre (Avenida Córdoba 1155).
