In its sixth year, Art Week Rosario joins the Bicentenary celebrations and unfolds in two stages. The first part, which took place in May this year, was the convening of a historic Art Town Meeting, which was attended and made presentations regarding the various national art scenes, thus forming a snapshot of the current state of the art in our country. In the second stage, given the quality of the presentations, we decided to translate them into a publication to launch a new collection of editions Castagnino + macro dedicated to the theory and art criticism.
Thus, a fundamental part of this 6SAR/10, the publication presents the Open Meeting of Art, historical edition which rescues all the presentations that were delivered during the conference, to be a single document that provides an overview of different views on the current national artistic field, told in words of references and undisputed protagonists.
The presentation ceremony is conducted under the traditional Bar Cairo on Friday November 19, 2010 with the presence of provincial authorities, municipal managers of institutions and members of the artistic community .. Also present were representatives of the various locations Santa Fe participants of previous editions of Art Week which, in turn, relate their experiences in a special chapter of this publication .
also the Director of the Museum Castagnino + macro with the editorial board publicly announced new guidelines to be implemented during 2011, regarding the collection and the launch of new editorial proposals.
